![]() Balance the emotions “Stored hurt” is responsible for a wide range of psychological distress. Normally, we say expressed anger is better than suppressed anger. But we cannot express our anger on most of the occasions. Then how to get out of the “stored hurt”? It is by using the intellectual faculty. The stimulus is from outside but the reaction is from inside. So, use your topmost faculty and resist from reacting to that particular situation. A brisk walk after the situation can ease your tension. The
cycle of emotions is as follows Pain in the present is experienced as hurt.
Pain in the past is remembered as anger. Pain in the future is perceived
as anxiety. Unexpressed anger, redirected against yourself and held
within is called guilt. The depletion of energy that occurs when anger
is redirected inward creates “depression”.

Now,
the Diabetic patients can understand
whv the sugar level goes up when there is an emotional stress. By adopting
simple relaxation exercise like yoga, one can easily come out of this emotional
stress and reduce the sugar level in the blood. The stress control workout
given in the book can help you come out of stress if practiced at the time
of your emotional stress. More than that, the intellectual faculty should
be activated to find out the root cause of the stress. "Forget the past”
“Follow the present” and “Frame the future" is the formula.
Past mistakes should serve as a guide while following the present.
The Diabetics Research experiment is very successful and many borderline patients are successful in avoiding oral medication. Similarly, a few patients have been advised to cut down the medication. More than that, the patients expressed a positive well being. without aches and pains, during our third camp in April 2002. The results of the Diabetic Camp are exhibited in our web Site (http://bhojraj.tripod.com). This data will be updated every month as the results pour in. We have planned an ‘Open House’ on Diabetes to explain about our treatment in detail on 9th June 2002 at 2-00 pm at the Indian Institute of World Culture, B.P. Wadia Road, Basavangudi. I request all our members. especially Diabetic Research Camp members to participate with their family members and make this programme a grand success. I request all Advance Course Trainees to attend without fail. You may please confirm your participation in the OPEN HOUSE to our Programme Coordinator Mr. P. Suresh at Tel. No. 663 8091 by June 7, 2002. This would greatly help us in arranging the Open House. With best wishes
Consultation by appointment only. Timings: Week Days 6 to 8 pm Sat & Sundays 9 to 11 am |

I have
been a diabetic for quite some time now and have been under medication.I
used to get pain in the right hand tip and swelling in the ankle. In February
2002,I joined the Diabetic Camp being conducted by the Acupressure Club.I
am happy to inform you that my blood sugar has reduced (FBS 144 to 80 and
PPBS,210 to 138) in just two monthly sittings. Also the ankel pain and swelling
has greatly reduced and my general health has improved.I am regularly activating
the pancreas, liver and spleen reflex points on the palm which has fetched
me good results.I am continueing the regular medication.

I have
been diagonised as diabetic about 18 years back and have been on regular
medication and taking long walks since then. With medication the blood
sugar level has been around 220 and there has never been an occassion when
it had come down to normal all these years inspite of my regular exercise
and medication. In February 1 joined the Diabetic Camp of Dr. Bhojraj.
Though the treatment is given only once in a month in the Camp, we were
surprised to see the blood suagr level coming down (FBS 160 and PPBS 250)
in just one sitting. After the second sitting the sugar level reduced to
145 (FBS) and 193 (PPBS). I am now feeling much better and enthusiastic
at my age of 75. I have been regular in my exercises and activating the
acupressure point shown to me. Many of my friends who are also diabetic
are eager to join the Camp.
Mr. Fateh Chand, Sheshadripurarn, Bangalore-20 I am really grateful to Dr. Bhojraj and Mr. Suresh for showing me very simple methods to bring down my blood sugar level. [As
narrated to Mr P Suresh by Mr Fateh Ghandj.

diabetic patients. On obtaining the camp details at Jayanagar,I took the
treatment on 24-2-2002 from you.As per the test report on 23-2-2002, my
PPBS was 200 mg% and Urine sugar 1%. After first treatment from you,the
blood sugar level came down to PPBS 120 and Urine sugar NILas per the test
reports of 14-3-2002. During the period I have not changed the oral medicine
and exercises.I received the Acupuncture treatment on 17-3-2002 and on
24-4-2002 with the blood sugar level getting reduced to 120-130 (PPBS)
i.e. with in the normal value.I am advised to reduce the intake of tablets
to half of earlier doses.I am fully satisfied with your Acupuncture treatment
for which I am expressing my greatful thanks to you sir.

is delt nicely by comparing it with Allopathic science Vs Acupressure Science.Diabetes
from Acupuncture point of view is an excellent writeup.Spleen - to stimulate
forpancreas activation or control, then Liver, Lungs & finally P-7.This
4 point programme for diabetes is good concept to be dealt with acupuncture.
Reflex points on palm, viz. Spleen,Pancreas and Liver is also noted for
practice.Good article in short.

I used
to get stomach pain once in a while and doctor used to give antacids and
pain killers. Recently I bought the 'Acupressure
& Fitness' book written by Dr. Bhojraj and on one such occassion
I tried Zone Therapy, i.e. by pressing and releasing the tip of middle
and ring finger for three minutes.Mr. Alagappan, 24 Bawa Road, Alwarpet, Chennai-18. ![]() Dr. Bhojraj also asked me to activate the point located at the centre of the chin (CV-25) for constipation and I found this point very useful to solve constipation problem. Thanks to Dr.Bhojraj for giving me simple and effective solutions for my long standing problem.

One fine
morning I had an acute giddiness while I was getting up from my bed and
it continued for days.I could not do any work due to this giddiness. I
was admitted in a hospital and all sorts of medical tests were carried
out (X-ray, doppler test etc.).Doctors diagonised it as Cervical Spondilities
and Vertigo. Doctors advised me to take tablets and used cervical belt.
There was no improvement. The giddiness continued and I was losing my confidence
to do any work.I also had no taste in the tongue for any type of food. One
of my friends recommended me to Dr. Bhojraj and the day I met him, I stopped
taking all medicines as per his advise.Acupuncture
treatment was given and he taught me certain acupressure points to be activated
by me daily. It was a miracle and within a fortnight my life was back to
normal and now I am fully cured after 4 sittings of Acupuncture in a span
of three months.

I Case
In case of sleeplessness and palpitations, the main ortgan responsible is the Heart. If the problem is originated in the Heart itself, it can produce sleeplessness, palpitations, ulcers in the tongue and mouth and also constipation. This type of insomnia can be treated by sedating the heat in the Heart meridian itself which can give very good results. ![]() II Case In another type of insomnia, the spleen weakness affects the heart since spleen enertty is supplied by heart as mother. Such people suffering from insomnia and palpitation would also feel lethargy, weakness, decrease of thirst and appetite and watery stools.Since the problem lies in spleen, treatment in the heart meridian is ineffective. So the Yin humidity should be increased to get over the insomnia and palpitations.
III Case In another type of insomnia and palpitations, the Kidney deficiency is the root cause of the problem. As the coldness energy is insufficient, the heat energy is not properly controlled. It results in fever with spontaneous sweating and coughing which results the sleeplessness. Here by increasing the Yin coldness will give very good results for insomnia.
Headache and Vertigo (Dizziness) The main organ responsible for headache and dizziness is Liver. The deficiency of coldness energy (Kidney) can also cause Backache and dizziness. The deficiency of dryness energy (Lungs) which controls the Liver can also cause these symptoms. Finally inactivity of spleen can also be the cause for these symptoms. I Case When liver is directly affected,it causes headache and dizziness along with whole body pain (muscular) and redness in the eyes.In such case sedating the Yin wind will give immediate results. II Case When the headache and dizziness are due to deficiency of coldness (kidney) and over active wind (Liver),it is accompanied by a feeling of heat and emptiness. In such a condition tonification of Yin coldness will give very good results. (To be continued
in the next issue)
![]() Diabetes mellitus is a major problem in our country and by the year 2025 it is estimated that India would have the world’s largest population of diabetes. Some major factors for this urowimz health problem are sedentary and stressful life-style, lack of exercise, obesity and family history. According to Allopathy, diabetes cannot be cured but can be controlled. Balanced diet taken in small quantities at regular intervals and regular exercise keeps the blood sugar level under control. Good diabetes control means having blood glucose (sugar)
Regular monitoring of blood glucose/urine glucose at regular intervals can be done at home on your own or in a laboratory. Self monitoring can be done either by using test trips or a blood glucose meter which must be cheaper due to the concession given by our Finance Minister in his 2002-2003 budget. Glucose appears in the urine when the blood sugar has exceeded a certain level (162-180 mg/dl) known as “renal threshold.” Dipping the urine test strips in the urine for one second will change the colour of the strip depending on the sugar present. One can compare the colour with colour label on the vial to make a quantitative assessment. Blood glucose meters marketed by reputed companies can help you to keep a check on your blood glucose levels. For
